Well we finally did it! After 27 long years the cup is again ours. To all you Arsenil fans - go and find a new song, we have now got some silverware!!

Keep upto date with the Results and Match Reports
from the 97/98 season.

I have been following Chelsea many many years and started going to games in the early eighties. There are always games that you remember, more recently, Millwall in the cup (home & away), flying to Newcastle away and the whole team got on the plane for the flight back, and then worse of all the 94 FA Cup final. As I left England at the end of the 94/95 season, I only missed 3 games the whole season. I even managed to go to all of the ECWC( home and away) what a superb time that was, the whole atmosphere, once again the belief in the team and meeting new friends. You had to be pretty mad really, travelling all the way to Czechoslovakia with Hoddle as manager and watch your beloved team defend a goalless draw under the close supervision of the local riot police, who probably numbered 1 to every 3 CFC fans. Yet again the bug had bitten and I just had to go to the next away game, even using the clubs official travel package again.

Being out here in Singapore is great but we don't half miss the football. The coverage here has just improved with 3 live games on Saturday and Sunday and the monday night game sometimes on ESPN. I also have Internet access and what with the online reports, the mailing list and radio Chelsea things are not too bad. I managed to get to 4 games the following season. As for last season I managed to see 3 games, including Zola's debut at Ewood Park. As a special treat I also flew home for the weekend and went to the FA Cup final.
Now the new era really starts, Ruud has bought a load more players and the ground redevelopment's are coming along. As well as being fancied for the ECWC, we are also considered to be in the leading pack for the Championship. I believe that we will win another 'major honour' this coming season and that we will go from strength to strength. If the new squad bonds together quickly and the squad system is a success then there are no limits and only trophies ahead.

Soon to be the new theatre of Dreams, for a lot of people!
